BrisbaneEmergencyPlumber.com is an online business site, built to offer a service to offline businesses. It has all original articles.

I built this local business website in December 2010, planning to get it on Google’s page one and rent it to a local plumber.

I did indeed get it to page one before Christmas, but I changed my mind about getting into the area of offline businesses. I have not posted anything since January, yet it’s still #2 on Google search (not counting Google local with maps) fpr the domain matching keyword phrase, brisbane emergency plumber.

My plan? To rent it to a local plumber for $100-300 a month; to put the plumber’s info in a sticky post so it would always be above the fold on page one. Perhaps rent for more and add a bonus of putting the business on Google local.

When I decided not to do that I threw up some Adsense (earned a grand total of $2.34). I probably would remove all or most of Adsense to rent it to a plumber.

So if you want to provide online services to offline businesses, this is a site that’s already ranked. It ranks for other keywords on page one too – fix leaky pipe, fix leaky pipes, fixing leaky pipes, fixing leaky pipe, how to fix a leaky pipe.

Brisbane is the capital city of Queensland, Australia. It has a population of over 2 million. The domain is a dot com, and you can run this business site from anywhere in the world. Or you could target one of the several Brisbanes in the US.  

Stats

Please remember that nothing has been done to this site since January. It needs a little marketing/backlinking.

Understanding that, over the period of nine months from December 1, 2010 to September 1, 2011, the average unique visitors per month were 60. Average page views were 94. Most of the traffic is from the US, presumable from people interested in plumbers in their local Brisbane. Next in the list is Australian visitors.

I’m providing an Analytics screenshot of the entire nine months.  

Price

Yes, $25 is ridiculously low. I set this price because offline marketing sites are new to the flipping marketplace, and I want to sell the site and focus on other projects.  

What work will the site need?

Well, you need to keep it on page one. Since I haven’t done anything since putting up the original articles and it’s still ranking at number 2, page 1, I can’t see that being a problem. 

Plus, more traffic is always a good thing!

Also, if you decide to rent the site, you will need to put the plumber’s information on the site. What I would do is have a relevant image, the hairdresser’s logo, information about the salon, a testimonial and contact details. Perhaps a coupon if they want to offer one.  

What happens when you buy the site?

I will transfer the domain to your GoDaddy account, and transfer and install the site on your host. If you would prefer to do that yourself I will send you the files and database. Also, I offer support for 30 days.
